ACT serves war survivors throughout the north. This includes (in the Vavuniya area) Vavuniya General Hospital, Cheddikulam Hospital and all zones of the Menik Farm camp. ACT also supplies Padaviya Hospital near the former war zone. You can click on the markers in the map above for more information. ACT focused its works in the district of Vavuniya during 2009. 2010 saw a migration of residents back to the Northern provinces Kilinochchi, Mullativu and Jaffna.

ACT is working together with the Disaster Management Unit team of the Ministry of Health and the Kilinochchi MOH team to assess medical needs and supply the needs of the citizens returning to their homes in these areas. ACT will aim to equip each of the receiving hospitals in the area with essential medical supplies to improve the on site treatments.
