Description Of Services

The objects of the Trust are :-

a) To assist with the relief and rehabilitation of injured and displaced persons that have been rescued from war.

b) To assist the State, Non Governmental Organizations [NGOs] and persons similarly engaged in the relief and rehabilitation of injured civilians or soldiers whose lives have been forever altered by Sri Lanka’s civil war.

c) To render all manner of assistance financial or otherwise which will include the provision of food, rations, clothing, medicines and household goods to persons in need of these remedies;

d) To raise funding for relief and rehabilitation of survivors of war by raising awareness of the plight of the survivors and asking private citizens, corporations in Sri Lanka and internationally and any club, society or Group to take “ACTION” to support the relief of Sri Lankan war survivors.

Donation Policy

Donations are not tax deductible. Donations may be refunded within 30 days upon a written request. There are no recurring donations or fees. An electronic receipt will be provided and a physical receipt may be provided upon request.

All donations are denominated in Sri Lanka Rupees. ACT is a trust based in Sri Lanka and all operations are within Sri Lankan territory.

Privacy Policy

ACT collects the following information to verify each donor: Customer/cardholder name, address, telephone number, email address, national identity/passport number. This information is collected to maintain a valid list of donors and for audit and correspondence purposes. This information is kept confidential at all times and will not be shared with third parties.

All payment gateway transactions are processed through SSL to ensure data security. Credit card information is at no time stored on the ACT server.
